Proven design that ensures satisfaction

Rolmako is among the few manufacturers of cultivation tools offering a comprehensive range of machines that can be mounted on the front three-point linkage, enabling operations ahead of the tractor. A second unit is mounted on the tractor's rear lift, which optimally enhances the cultivation effect. The new, versatile Rolmako disc harrow for the front three-point linkage is based on the established U 693 compact disc harrow model, proven effective worldwide in various soil conditions. The harrow for the front three-point linkage features a two-beam design, each equipped with sections of discs set opposite each other. Its compact design ensures easy transport and efficient field operation. This disc harrow is designed for seedbed preparation and crop residue cultivation. Levelling the field with the harrow working in front of the tractor increases working speed, particularly after ploughing during the first cultivation. The front-mounted disc harrow is ideal for chopping organic matter such as corn stubble, rapeseed, or catch crops. This goal is achieved quickly and economically, either alone or in combination with a cultivator. The machine adapts to the ground through the rubber connection of the disc leg to the frame. Additionally, the harrow loads the front axle of the tractor, enhancing traction, reducing wheel slippage, and increasing pulling power.

Combination of cultivation equipment to enhance quality and streamline the process

The disc harrow on the front three-point linkage is one of Rolmako's front tools, which, due to its mounting nature on the tractor, allows for additional use and enhances traction. For the disc harrow mounted on the front of the tractor, Rolmako recommends suspending the U 436 multifunctional cultivator on the rear linkage, which, in some configurations, is a heavy device and requires a front load on the tractor. The combination of these two tools enables discing and tine cultivation in one pass with a relatively small load for the tractor. This setup is particularly justified when working on stubble with a large amount of crop residue and on stubble cut high or in fields after grain harvest. In such cases, the disc harrow working in front of the tractor, set for shallow work, cuts crop residue by a few centimeters so that the cultivator working deeper behind it does not get clogged. This type of set has the same working elements as many rear-mounted, extended cultivators, also used in stubble cultivation, which require much larger tractors to operate. The disc harrow on the front three-point linkage is a machine designed for the most demanding users, focused on optimization, precision, and the best possible preparation of the top layer of soil just before sowing and efficient stubble cultivation at the lowest possible costs.

A meticulously engineered structure that optimizes the tractor's efficiency

The Rolmako disc harrow for the front three-point linkage is ideal for use in combination with additional rear-mounted tools, such as a seeder, compactor, cultivator, or another disc harrow. This combination achieves the effect of two operations in the field in one pass, saving time and money. By combining with the seedbed cultivator, a single-pass, simplified sowing is obtained. The disc harrow can also effectively level ridges after digging potatoes. Available with a 3 m working width, it is designed for both basic stubble cultivation and secondary cultivation on dry, heavy soils, making it suitable for field preparation for sowing. The working element consists of 510 mm or 560 mm diameter discs with individual rubber shock absorbers and hubs for each. Rubber shock absorbers on the disc legs ensure smooth operation and protection against stone impacts. The working depth is set using the front rotating support wheels, adjusted with pins. The outer discs fold upwards to a vertical position, reducing transport width for easier travel on public roads. Floating side screens with height and extension adjustment prevent processed soil from escaping the working strip.

Machine construction

1. LED lighting beam

The selection of this accessory is critical for machines being operated on public roads.

2. Three-point linkage tower

The substantial suspension system functions as a load-bearing element of the disc harrow on the front three-point linkage. The robust tower of the three-point suspension system ensures the machine's durability and load resistance.

3. Working elements

Standard harrow disc with aggressive tine 510 mm, optional 560 mm. Basic thickness 4 mm, optional 5 mm and 6 mm. Available in other disc shapes (smooth, fine-tooth, ALFA disc).

4. Bearing of working discs

Disc hub requiring maintenance or maintenance-free, lubricated and sealed for the entire service life.

5. Rubber shock absorbers

Rubber spring elements allow the optimal adjustment of the concave discs to the contours of the cultivated soil. This ensures the safety of the disc harrow frame and absolute maintenance-free overload protection while maintaining the preset working depth.

6. Hinge of the outer disc

A disc harrow for the front three-point linkage of a tractor, with a working width exceeding 3.0 m, features two hinges, one on each side. When set in the transport position, these hinges ensure the width does not exceed 3.0 m, facilitating transport on public roads.

7. Side leveling covers

The use of side levelling covers retains the cut and mixed straw within the unit, preventing the formation of mounds and ruts during subsequent passes.

8. Mechanical depth adjustment

The standard mechanical working depth adjustment is user-friendly and does not require additional tools.

9. Support wheels

Constant working depth is maintained by four swivel support wheels with mechanical working depth adjustment. These wheels stabilize the operation of the working tools, ensuring smooth guidance of the machine at the front of the tractor.

10. Weights

In the disc harrow on the front three-point linkage of the tractor, the pressure of the working elements on the processed ground can be increased by using additional weights.

11. Quality steel

Achieving a high-quality final product necessitates the use of superior metallurgical materials; therefore, in manufacturing the agricultural machine frame, we utilize fine-grained Swedish steels S500MC and S700MC.

12. Laser processing of sheets, tubes, and profiles

The application of laser techniques in the production of agricultural machinery facilitates precise cutting in high-quality, hard sheets, where conventional chip drilling methods are challenging and costly.

13. Steel shot blasting and powder coating

Proper preparation of machine parts combined with powder coating ensures a durable and robust coating. Additional maintenance and complicated care are unnecessary.

14. Robotic welding

The precision and repeatability of machine components are ensured by automatic welding, guaranteeing the highest quality component manufacturing for you. Our advanced robotic devices enable us to perform the most demanding welding tasks.

Working discs

Standard harrow disc with aggressive tine: 510 mm, optional 560 mm. Standard thickness: 4 mm, optional 5 mm and 6 mm. Other disc shapes available (smooth, fine-tooth, ALFA disc).

Side leveling covers

The use of side levelling covers retains the cut and mixed straw within the unit, preventing the formation of mounds and ruts during subsequent passes.

Front supporting wheels

The working depth is set using the front rotating support wheels, which are adjusted with special pins and locks.

Rubber shock absorber

Maintenance-free overload protection is ensured. Rubber spring elements allow optimal adjustment of the recessed discs to the contours of the cultivated soil. The 40 mm x 180 mm rubber rollers absorb sudden impacts due to their extensive cushioning path. This guarantees the safety of the disc harrow arm and the absolutely maintenance-free overload protection while maintaining the specified working depth.
